Another thing is that taking a child of 15 years to another country is problematic. I think it is better when the child is very young, around 6 to 9 say or has completed high school in Ghana and ready to enter university in the foreign country.

I am a bit disappointed. 13 years ago my sister-in-law and her husband relocated their kids to Ghana for almost 5 years when they lived in the Bronx, because they knew their children will be exposed to such dangers. They moved to Virginia before Covid-19 and brought their children back to the US. My point is, Ghanaians living in the Bronx know how dangerous certain neighborhoods can be for their family, especially the little ones.

If you're going to bring your children, you either bring them when they are still very young ideally under 6 so they have time to assimilate into the youth culture before they reach secondary or after they have completed secondary and come to the US for University education.
