The Atubuga you all know formerly of the SC during the 2013 election dispute is from Kadiga/Sirigu/Mayaro and speaks Kasena/Nakani which is closer to Navrongo.This area falls within the Navrongo jurisdiction.
The two areas are far apart from each other.
Many people from the south tend to lump northerners together as if they come from the same ethnic group or from the same house or geographically locations.
Mind you the whole north is a very vast area to recorn with; and of about over 500 tribes.

His brother was Fortunate Atubiga who equally contested for that seat in the 1992 elections and won it for the NDC.
Stephen Atubiga,the NDC politician is Irene's cousin.
Irene has only one sister-Alice Atubiga who is a teacher.Their only brother died very young also through tragic circumstances whiles playing with his colleagues at school.
Their house is called MP House at Bawku directly behind the Circuit Court.They are Kusasis.
The Atugubas are also from Mirigu in the eastern part of Navrongo.They are Nankarisi (Nankana) people.Nankanas and Kasenas are completely different people with different cultures even though the two inhabit the same geographical area.Understanding Kasem does not necessarily mean one can speak Nankam as the two languages are totally different.Nankam, actually is a subset of Gurune(Frafra).Yes.Nankam,Frafra, Talensi,Kusaal,Dagbanli,Daagaare,Mossi and Mampruli share some dialectical similarities.
The eastern part of Navrongo has the following towns:Sirigu,Mirigu,Manyoro,Natugnia,Yua & Kandiga.

What is currently happening in Ghana, where innocent lives are being prematurely terminated violently constitutes a complete Societal Madness and a total Breakdown of Law and Order threatening the very existence of every Ghanaian.
The Minister for Interior must understand that his roles is to provide Internal Security to all and Protect life and property 24/7 Around the clock.
This barbarism and carnage has recently shot up in number and An Urgent Security Review Must be practically undergoing to Stop this killing spree.

First, 3 months emergency stop and search for weapons like guns and knives must be decorated.
Secondly, Every convicted killer who has murdered and taken any life should face the Death Penalty in an open execution to be televised nationwide as a deterrent to all. And this should include all domestic killings, ritual murders, kidnapped killings, reckless driving murders, etc etc.
