The country is being tagged internationally as a nation of fraud or narcotics and this is bad for our image .Many Ghanaians have been arrested by the FBI and extradited to the US over scams while others have been arrested for engaging in narcotics. This has given the country a very bad reputation which will subsequently affect the image of Ghanaians living in the diaspora. How did this person evade our security agents in Ghana but was arrested rather after arriving in Lebanon. This is a bad image for our security personnel in Ghana and this requires a thorough investigation. Our security personnel at the airport must bow their heads in shame. There are many young men and women living an extravagant lifestyles in the country who cannot prove their means of acquiring their wealth yet our security personnel can’t investigate these individuals to find out the source of their wealth until the FBI infiltrates and arrests them. Ghana needs a better image internationally.

Why is it that they are only arrested after they have left Ghana? Why are we not arresting them in Ghana? How can two big suitcases full of cocaine manage to leave our airport only to be found in another country? Same with the arrest in Australia, France, and now Lebanon.

Ntim Fodwour, MP for Assin South drew the attention of the government of a suspicious plane that landed in Ghana ,Mahama ordered the national security to arrest him. Now, what do we see, cocaine here, cocaine everywhere which brings the name of Ghana in disrepute unabated. Mahama must as a matter of urgency curb the influx of cocaine, heroine, red and other hard drugs into the country. Mahama said he had learnt his lessons well therefore his second coming was going to be fantastic, but, all we see is total breakdown of discipline of the national security and also the judiciary. The whole country is on autopilot without control that shouldn't have been the case. Mahama must sit up as a president, and not a mere overseer.
