The use of drones in war, first seen in the Ukraine- Russia conflict and since then in the Iran - US/Israel war has changed warfare forever. It is virtually now impossible to fight wars effectively and safely using high concentrations of military person military assets whether on land, air or sea as they would quickly present a very target-ri h environment for adversaries with a huge supply of drones and missiles. These new technologies have exposed the dangerous vulnerabilities of nations once regarded as having militaries that were impervious or almost impossible to defeat. These new technologies have also given smaller nations the ability to wage potentially very destructive asymmetric warfare.
Massive advances in technology along with much greater affordability of microchips including AI ones has put very affordable but extremely effective tech based countermeasures within the reach of much smaller or weaker militaries. The shocking and eye-watering and painful retaliation meted out by Iran when it was attacked demonstrates very clearly the new paradigm.
Great powers can no longer assume total impunity when they attack a supposedly weaker adversary.
The next round of fighting in the Gulf and Middle East will bring with it unimaginable levels of destruction in the nations caught up in the coming conflict.
Ghanaians living and working in these perilous regions need to be aware of of the coming conflagration and take measures to protect themselves. They may only have days or few weeks to act from now.

Who can forget in 2022 footage of FPV drones chasing Ukrainian soldiers into a house and killing them? The Ukrainian forces also started to use them. The latest iteration of attack FPV drones are operated via extremely fine lightweight fibre optic cables making them immune to electronic jamming and have been used by both sides with deadly effect. The same is happening in Lebanon with Hizbollah reportedly using them against Israeli troops. An FPV drone costing less than a $1000 can take out an over $1,000000 dollar tank. This is the terrible reality!
