In 2016 I was informed that a grader and tipper trucks are excavating gravel on my property at Fanaku, near Morborle.
I rushed from Nii Boi Town to the property and saw a grader and tipper truck excavating gravel from my land.
The matter is that by law, under such circumstance I had the right to defend my property, either by bringing a similar machinery to force those machinery from my property.
In defence of my property, I bought petrol and engine oil to manufacture a petrol bomb.
Burndown burn the grader and the tipper truck on my property, then take a motorcycle, chase the trucks that were loaded with the gravel from my property and burn all of them down.
Whiles the police officer have the right to keep order and peace, I am of the view that the owner of the property have the right to protect his property.
The police should have advised the owner of the land on which the sand was been winned to take the matter to court.
So the owner of the land must as a matter of fact take the number of the vehicles involved in the winning of sand on his land to court, the police will be given order by the court to seize the vehicles, whiles the court process goes on.

There is no equalization of the Military and Police ranks. It’s not for nothing that ONLY the Head of State can, by law, commission Army Officers. The Vice President, the Chief of Staff, or the Minister of Defence, can never commission Officer. Cadets as Military Officers.
If they are to be commissioned tomorrow and the President is incapable of doing it, they will wait until a new President is sworn in.
The same doesn’t happen with Police Cadet Officers. They can be PASSED OUT as officers by the President, Vice, or the Interior Minister.
So pls no one should compare police ranks or any of the other services rank with the military. Indeed,the Lieutenant was not supposed to salute the Chief Supt. according to military norms and discipline. That is why you will never see a security task force with military and other service men with the head being a police officer.

In any democratic society, it is the police who should be called to any civilian area to conduct some exercise rather than the soldier because our soldiers think they are beyond reproach and can act with impunity without answering to nobody.

While I don't support Sam George, the soldiers should also be warned to know their limit because currently, Ghana is not under a curfew where the soldier can pick up a gun and act like he is going to confront a foreign enemy.

If you are a soldier, does it mean you are above the laws of Ghana so, what is the Lieutenant doing at Ningo Prampram that will invoke the anger of Sam George?

Let's be candid to ourselves that our soldiers have the mentality that they are above the laws of Ghana and who are they anyway?
