I remember when withholding service tax was put at 7.5% while that on goods was at 5%, discussions on radio was that lawyers, architects and other professionals hardly conduct audit so to make up the final tax, 7.5% was used. My only word to opposition people is that stand firm to your believes, do what is lawful but when obvious witch hunt are conducted on you, you can fail the test but dont loss hope. This applies to anyone not NPP alone.
