To explain, a motorist violates traffic, the street camera captures the offense. The ticket is mailed to the person’s address with the image of violation which shows vehicle and registration, the penalty and deadline to pay. Government is able to access the bank account of the party to access the money or freeze the account.

Failure to get the payment can result to being blacklisted from insurance, road worthy, license renewal etc.

It also relative to have a license point system but that can be the next stage of implementation.

Ghana appears to moving forward but the process is painfully slow.
