The only nation in Africa that comes close is South Africa, where easy access to guns coupled with widespread lawlessness and corruption has made many towns and cities unsafe dwelling places. Both countries share some common featurs- a history of exploitation and abuse of large sections of their societies. They also both have a persistently high level of disenfranchisement and denial of social amenities, persistent low levels of education, extremely high unemployment, an unusually large proportion of dysfunctional ( single parent) families in sections of their population. Gun violence, drug abuse, prostitution and numerous street gangs are also rife in both nations.

It is a bloody shame that the United States assaults and invades other countries with ferocious violence whenever it pleases and for whatever reason, but cannot protect children within its borders against gun violence.

The US and her citizens know other means of resolving grievances apart from the use of violence in any form. This year witnessed US going to Venezuela, kill people and kidnap the President Maduro, wife and usurp the fossil resources of Venezuela in her interest.
She did the same thing in Iran that backfired.
No Ghanaian living in the US will tell you that such terrorist acts by the US are wrong.
