Hmmmm asemooooooo
Keep it in mind when you are driving in a city and when you are on a high way speed limit it's like that all over the world. Ghanaians have to learn
Such bogos and noisy argument. I only support visible speed limits but to erect sign post and tell you there's a camera for you to now come to ones senses to not overspeed or do the wrong thing is the highest form of indiscip ...

That is how it works in every advanced country. There is always a sign post of the speed cameras and the speed limit for that section.
What do you mean by Advance country?? It's rather the other way around. One need to adhere to traffic rules always, why do you want to speed up and slow down because there's a surveillance??
the same reason you put up sign when cameras are installed at private and other buildings
You ant to drive 100 km/h at 30 k/m zone but slow down, hen you see a camera?
This is exactly your implication and that of those idiotic Action f. Justice bastards.
Which advanced country are you talking about?
This is how it works: a limit, 30 (in km/h) say, will be white-marked on the ground. This limit will be valid until another limit has replaced.
Now, on the whole section wit ...

I support this call 100% for the sign post to notify motorists about the cameras. Also road signs should be made visible as well to show the speed limits for every section of the road.
Do you need to see your supervisor watching you b4 knowing that you are being evaluated every step of the way. When you know the right thing, you do it without being asked or reminded.
Let be fair,; good road, speed limits ...

Common sense is far less common than people think.
What is the purpose of the entire TraffiTech-GH system if motorists only obey road safety rules when they know a camera is watching?
The efficacy of the TraffiTech-GH initiative is severely undermined if motorists strictly adhere to traffic regulations only within the immediate vicinity of known enforcement cameras.
It is the best practice everywhere in road safety issues to make any signs and markings available to motorist/drivers and not to hide and make it punitive. That is not road safety requirements. I understand the MTTD implement ...

THAT IS THE BEST WAY TO MAKE PEOPLE CONCIOUS OF SPEED LIMIT AND NOT TO HIDE IT SOMEWHEREWITHOUT WARNING SIGNS TOO ON ROAD.
@jacksparrow I 100% agree..hiding the camera is like u have ill intention..some drivers are naturally foolish and even if its in the open, will still overspeed..but if there is speed sign there, then I think its enough..one t ...

The rule is very simple: a street would be marked say 30 (i.e 30km/h)
And unless otherwise stated/changed, that limit holds for the entire route. At least one camera could be placed (HIDDEN) anywhere ...

What's the point of hiding the speed cameras?
Nmoasem saa 247, why?
You want to cruise 100k/m at a 30km/h zone but slow down to 30km/h when you see the camera?
You are not wiser than the planners of effective traffic system . I bet you.
Besides, the first attempt at introducing VAT, the introduction of Traffic-Tex Ghana has been the poorest exercise of its kind. Typical of the Ghana Police, all that the policy is about is “catching “ and punishing non-co ...
