Probably if the society had gotten some patient for them we would've found our direction. Acheampong and Fred Akuffo were never Corrupt as compared to JJ Rawlings. Their children are around living a modest life compared to Kimathy & Zanetor who drive G Wagon & V8.

The story forgot to touch on the extent of corruption in ghana when Rawlings was handing over. Rawlings could not support his family to extent that he had to buy gari and beans on credit. Yet his children had education in pretigious western schools. Meanwhile he was sending ghanaian youth to Cuba for brain washing. One day Rawlings body will be exhumed and tried posthumously. This way the victims of Rawlings junta will get the justice they deserve.

We must all thank Rawlings and his boys for rescuing Ghana in times of serious desperation among fellow Ghanaians. If lived in Ghana those days then you would understand how important it was for Rawlings and his boys to step in. Ghana became so poor to an extent that if nothing was done at the time, we could have ended up being the poorest country on earth, even poorer than Somalia in comparison. The country became so broke to an extent that even we had to form a long line to purchase common commodities like sardines and gari. There was nothing left and everyone was running to Nigeria for greener pastures. Please let's give praise to the hero where it's due and stop insulting Rawlings. Nobody sacrificed his life for a common man in Ghana like he did at the time. The corruption in Ghana at the time called Kalabule was just too much and if you lived in that era then you would understand why Rawlings was hailed as Junior Jesus by the masses at the time. No amount of lies by anyone could erase the sufferings we endured those days and the little boy called Rawlings so heroic was able to put things back on tract and paving the way for the democracy we enjoy today
