He had wrong the nation Ghana and our future generations. When he was the CEO of Obuasi Goldfields everything was alright. One day we woke up to hear Queen Elizabeth had made him "Sir" Whats cooking some of us asked. Few months later we heard the Obuasi Goldfields is not doing well and must be auction out (U are mining gold and running at a loss?) Goldfields was auctioned and a British company bought, and thats how we lost Obuasi Goldfield.The rest is history. Now this same Sir Sam Jona is in talks with Mahama NDC to grant him mining rights to mine gold in Ghana High Seas. The Fishermen Association of Ghana are opposing it for fear of polluting the sea like galamsay had done to River Ankobra. Lets all speak out that Mahama and Ibrahim dont grant him this wish. I knew his family very well at labone between the late 80s and early 90s.
