I remember when a friend of mine got married and he was living abroad at that time, the parents of the woman were putting a lot of pressure on the man to come and take his wife to the UK with him meanwhile the man wasn't ready at that time but they pressured him to the point that the man took her to the UK, when the woman got to the UK, within 6 weeks, the marriage collapsed and the woman did a false accusations and the man was arrested. I don’t understand what Africans see in the west that make them take their kids and spouse there. There are a lot of pressure there, and people are working harder for longer hours but remain poor, no joy there at all.
