The Hausas came to Ghana before it was called Ghana. AND FOR THE RECORD:- ABOUT 90% OF THE HAUSAS LIVING IN GHANA NOW HAVE MIXED ETHNICITY WITH ETHNICS, RANGING FROM GONJA, DAGOMBA, TO FANTE. I for one, my maternal parents are Gonja from Salaga. I also do have uncles who are half Fantis. So what are you talking about? The hausas joined Ghana Army and fought along other Ghanaians in the wars which Ghana was involved. One of my Grand-grand father was the Ghana Army Imam at the Kumasi Military Barracks. That is how Hausa Soja - a form of broken hausa - came about. Hence, anyone who challenges the citizenship of Hausas in Ghana is very myopic in thinking and outlook.
  Therefore, I call on all peace loving Ghanaians to stop spreading these xenophobic and hate propaganda. LET PEACE PREVAIL. MAY GOD BLESS GHANA, MY MOTHER LAND.

They should go back to Mali where they come from and leave us in peace in Ghana. This tribe has alwaya fermented troubles in Ghana sicne Kwame Nkrumah rule. This Immigration dirty man should really be whipped thoroughly. Asantes are not Ghanaians. Freedom and Justice is our Motto. Mahama, you are like Hausas and other Islamic tribes. I am happy we don't have BOKO HARAM in Ghana. Mr President, intervene and stop these short ugly Asantes. Everyone is a Ghanaian by birth. Period. Send all these Malians ( Asantes) abroad who got American and other citizenships by birth. Asantes will always remain bush and ignorant bush tirbe except the few reasonable ones among them. I am so sad also for comment of Abdulkadir. I am a Hausa speaking Tuareg I have just finished 7 years in the Netherlands II even forgot being an African in terms of having all the rights of citizen in my new country and I hear people talking about lands in one continent where there is no plane needed to move from place to place, not ships needed to move from between country and another OOOOOOOOOOOOH Africa!!!! what a sad to read
