  As strange and most unlikely as it sounds, the almost impossible merger of NPP and CPP could be Ghana's best bet to emerge out from the cycle of yoo-yoo.
  
  Let the NDC remain what it is. Let PPP remain what it is. And allow the NPP and CPP to merge under a different name. And Ghana's burden would suddenly be halved to lighten its travail to permanent success.
  
  I see that the most destructive element in Ghana's Politics has been the endless feud between the UP/NLM 'Mate-me-ho' ideologues and the Nkrumaihists who vow to continue portraying the former as Nation-wreckers and ultra-selfish Capitalist-distortionists.
  
  Many have always suggested a single all-inclusive One-Party, or non-Party Union Government to bypass unnecessary opposition until Ghana's feet are solidly planted in irreversible success, not unlike Singapore's.
  
  However, given what Nkrumah's One-Party System and Acheampong's Union Government fiasco have thought us, an One-Party or non-Party Government in Ghana would only remain in a washed-out dream of those who bear it.
  
  However, if there were ever any courageous and formidable leaders on both the CPP and NPP to effect such a merger between them, Ghana would be on a whole new level of Political maturity and have an unprecedented pool of expert leaders to pull her through to the surface and into the sky.
  
  The mere suggestion of a NPP and CPP merger as I have done here could draw the hottest, and most vitriolic insults from the die-hards on each side. But such is the source of attraction of such a proposition. I have lived to experience the strongest and longest lasting trusts and friendship between opposing sides that had long hated each other to the brink of mutual annihilation.
  
  It is the zenith of redeemed pure human inter-relationship, most effective to solve common challenges that confront all stakeholders.
  
  Right now, the NPP even regards the NDC as some silhoutte of the CPP, even though the founder of the former overthrew a much closer incarnation of the CPP to the chagrin of many CPP core leaders.
  
  One big reason why the CPP cannot grow to even half of its former self is that many of its members fled to join the NDC when PNP was overthrown, and Rawlings under the wings of die-hard CPP sympathizer, Boakye-Gyan, courted the Nkrumahists with endless praises for the late President.
  
  Now, it has become almost impossible to see the CPP grafts in the NDC coming out to rejoin the thin-shell remnant CPP. And the in-fighting for leadership as spawned the Nduom's PPP from the CPP still plagues the older Party.
  
  However, if we were to put all of those who favor Nkrumah's ideals together, they would surely surpass the UP/NLM supporters and members. So, whenever the NPP activists invokes the long existing enmities between Nkrumah and their idols like Danquah, you could feel the swell of protests from a huge obtuse angle of our Political pie--ranging from among the NDC, PNC, PPP and CPP.
  
  If all these anti-UP/NLM folks pull their vote together, they always choke the NPP at Elections.
  
  The idea of NPP and CPP merger presupposes Akufo's forgiveness he extended to Nkrumah's family would be deepened, refined and more sincere enough to get Nkrumah's family reciprocate to offer same to the Danquah's, Busia's and Dombo's families, as well. Then also, we would have an extrapolation of those exchange of niceties and mutual heart-outpourings from both sides to indicate leaders from those two Political roots are now ready to genuinely work together for the best of the Nation. There would, then, be much lesser distractions for leaders to worry about being undermined, or their progressive programs shot down in midstream as was Nkrumah's, or Busia's.
  
  So, let me hear your opinions. Let me see who among these groups have the b*lls to make authentic moves to reconcile both sides for Ghana's sake. Let me see who could assemble the charisma, organizational skills and vision of Nkrumah's, the sophistication of Busia's Sociological prowess, the courage
  of Danquah's that would have sought for us to allow our long existing European Colonialists some space to live among us, while we rule ourselves.
  
  Given all the above, and more unmentioned, attributes of the various late leaders, our modern astute leaders would have understand that mix of those attributes would manifest a varying levels of each with varying times of our contemporaneous lives.
  
  You see, fellas, when Lee Kuan Yew insisted upon his dictatorial discipline, he never ruled out the possibility of Singapore opening up for a more transparent, wider participatory and more democratic politicking among its Citizenry.
  
  Now, that Singapore has cemented such a solid Economic health for all her Citizens, there is no fear of seeing Capitalism being contorted to impoverish the majority to exclusive soaring of the few.
  
  We could have done the same. We could do so now, but with a slightly different twist of having kept our Democracy alive and strengthening its bones. The merger of NPP and CPP could be one huge massive bone-builder for the Nation's Democracy that would hold up against heftier flesh and muscle to be earned in our refurbished Capitalist endeavors devoid of Corruption.
  
  Where are the courageous leaders in NPP and CPP, now?
