"Die for your nation throughout your working life for your nation to take care of you in your retirement"..... That is the social contract between workers and the State. But what do we see? You die for your nation while you are strong and healthy, only for the nation to abandon you with GHC100 a month which cannot meet your electricity and water bills, let alone your rent, food, clothing and medical needs. The GHC100 per month is to hasten your death so that SSNIT and the State would be free of you. That has been the reality in our past "Bitter Ghana" and remains so in our present "Better Ghana". God save our misused and dishonoured pensioneers. By the way, how much does the Chief Executive of SSNIT earn as salary???

i can't even eat at KFC 4 times per month with that..Real joke social security in usa pays $400 per month, plus you qualify for food stamps and medicare(nhis)

a minimum of 100 depending on your salary structure . some may get 5000 , others, 3000 etc ....how much you put away will determine how much you get ..so plan for your future
