Well, nearly all of us haven't seen the EVIDENCE of electoral rigging until the Supreme Court starts hearing the case. However, I'm very much concerned about the high state poker that the NPP is playing. At least, the NPP may take credit and hedge its position on “goodwill of Ghanaians” by encouraging the former pr4esidet to attend the inauguration—this way, the NPP is not carrying all its eggs in one basket.

True, in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA), the gambling casinos operate several gambling gambits with higher probabilities of losing than winning. The bets are heavily against the players and I see similar situation here with the NPP's Supreme Court case. The plaintiffs should be very careful, worried and excited at the same time. But, is the NPP not RISKING the following if it loses the case or even a win??

1) Stability and peace in the nation?
2) Damage to the NPP's image?
3) Damage to the NPP presidential candidates' image and future personal prospects?

4) Damage to Ghana's well-chalked democratic credentials abroad? And, above all,

5) Damage to Ghana's credibility in foreign financial markets and to discourage potential future investors?

What are the odds of the NPP winning this case and even it wins, how the hell does the country re-adjust to accept the results; a new election or what—move over Mahama and let me take my seat? NPP officials and their supporters should be very much concerned and also careful about the eventual VERDICT by the Supreme Court and thereafter!! JUST STAY TUNED & CALM—at least, for the meantime!!

I'm sad and lost of words to describe how pathetic some individuals are. Whoever wrote the above comment does not seem to be very educated. In the first place, JAK is being invited officially as an ex-President of Ghana but not the NPP or the Akans. Second, ex-President Rawlings and his wife are also being invited for similar reasons even though his wife tried to contest the election against the NDC.
More importantly how come the NPP is contesting the election results of the Presidency but not the Parliamentary (legislative) results since they won relatively fewer results than the NDC as in the Presidential results. The effect of these actions would tarnish the image of the party and make it unelectable in 2016. I expected someone living in the UK to be more enlightened or knowledgeable about the devastating effects of racism and tribalism but its sad to read comments like the above from Kojo London.

If you support your party's contention about a stolen election and resulting illegitimacy of Mahama;s claim to the-presidency, why on earth will you validate his claim to the presidency by attending his inauguration. But then again, it shows that you are consistent and predictable.
