After smoking a lot of marijuana Nana imagines some 916,000 votes being deducted form JM's votes so that he takes over as president! The reality is that when the effect of the marijuana wears off, Nana will realise that his weird dreams have vanished into thin air like the marijuana smoke he normally releases!!!!

He is a lawyer and has filed the suit at the supreme Court to 'nip in the bud' all future election riggings. The electoral commissioner is not the lord of the people but the servant. He has no right to determine who the next president should be. This is what Nana, jake and Dr. are doing.

They are serving this strong'warning' to any future electoral commissioner.

He once filed a writ in the name of the President and not the Republic. Dockets to charge suspected drug smugglers disappeared under his stewardship as Attorney General. And diplomatic passports were issued to drug barons. To cap all the tragic comedy he wants to be declared President on a sample of polling station votes. How pathetic. Imagine if he had won the elections!

In opposition they allowed the Kufuor regime to mind its own business. As a result the NPP looted the Ghana government for eight good years. The fat cats looted the economy from cash (Kwadwo Mpiani), bungalow (Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey), cooking pots (Sekyi-Hughes) etc…..70% of the richest people in Ghana are NPP apparachicks. In the case of NPP, they believe they know better than anybody else and they are the only people who have the divine right to rule Ghana thus they oppose everything NDC does if it is not from the NPP, whether good or bad, from, Chinese loans, judgment debts, appointments and even the inauguration of President Mahama. This enabled the NDC to always be on their toes in whatever they do. From this observation, you can all agree with me that the NPP are better in opposition than NDC. Fellow Ghanaians, let us ensure that NPP remains in opposition for thirty years. After that time NDC will improve everything and NPP will come back and rule Ghana till thy kingdom come.

Note that,4709 is exactly 20% of 24000,therefore checking the whole population of 24,000 pooling stations would produce,6,700,000 invalid votes by your audit.

It is of curious interest to note that NPP decided to consider, as they have presented to the sc, 'evidence' from about 24,000 polling centres and not the entire 26,002 that represent the constituent Ghana for the presidential result. Where are the remaining 2,002 polling centres located? Ghanaians need to know because evidence from those centres may have huge implications on what the NPP claim. Let us assume some or most of these centres are in the strong holds of the NPP (eg. Bantama, Manhyia, Tafo, Kibi etc) and are also found to have been involved in the alleged electoral fraud, it must come out.
NPP must be truthful to the people of Ghana. Afterall they had nearly 3 weeks to assemble their so called 'evidence'.

They cannot present further evidence to the Supreme Court because that will make a mockery of the percentages they have awarded the candidates.

The judges who constitute The supreme Court are assumed to be more learned and wiser than any other outsider as you do, and as such, they will take the totality of all the votes at all the polling centers into consideration.

I hope in their wisdom they are not going to decide the case only on the alleged polling centers presented in the suit.

The best thing one needs to do is to wait patiently and see how this case would be decided. This is the reason why this suit is 'a test of the democratic institutions in Ghana' and also 'a test of the Constitution'.

Please do not 'count your chikens before they are hatched'.

Many Ghanaians have been asking so many questions about the validity of NPP going to court about the elections of 2012. Some are calling on NPP to withdraw and "give to God", others are calling NPP "selfish" and cannot take a loss, while others are even doubting the outcome saying since the NDC candidate has been decleared the winner and his inauguration is coming on this Monday, January 7, 2013, NPP has no case because no sensible judge will overturn the elections. Some are even doubting whether a similar thing has ever happened anywhere in the world before. Now I have news for you. I will say "YES". I say so because recently in Urkrain a similar situation arose and eventually the legitimate candidate although was ruled as "having lost the elections" to the incumbent candidate, it later turned out to be the opposite. It is not over until it is over and since the Superme Court has the final say, let us wait till they come out with their verdit based on the facts and proofs at hand. The recent report from Ukraine says. The campaign leading to the October 31, 2004, presidential election was characterized by widespread violations of democratic norms, including government intimidation of the opposition, abuse of state administrative resources, and highly skewed media coverage. The two frontrunners--Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych and opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko--each garnered between 39% and 40% of the vote and proceeded to a second round. The November 21 runoff election was marred by credible reports of widespread and significant violations, including multiple voting by busloads of people, abuse of absentee ballots, and coercion of votes in schools and prisons. Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets of Kyiv and other cities to protest electoral fraud and express support for Yushchenko, and conducted ongoing peaceful demonstrations during what came to be known as the "Orange Revolution."

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and other independent observers found that the runoff election did not meet international standards for democratic elections. On November 24, the Central Election Commission (CEC) declared Yanukovych the winner with 49.46% compared to 46.61% for Yushchenko. The U.S. and Europe refused to accept the result as legitimate due to the numerous, uninvestigated reports of fraud. On November 27, Ukraine's Rada passed a resolution condemning the election results, and on December 1 it passed a vote of no confidence in the government. On December 3, Ukraine's Supreme Court invalidated the CEC's announced results and mandated a repeat of the second-round vote. An agreement mediated by European leaders resulted in the December 8 passage and adoption of new electoral legislation aimed at closing loopholes that had permitted pervasive electoral fraud.

While irregularities were noted during the December 26 re-vote, observers found no systemic or massive fraud. On January 10, 2005, after the CEC and the Supreme Court had considered and rejected numerous complaints and appeals filed by the Yanukovych campaign, the CEC certified the results: Yushchenko had won 51.99% of the votes, with 44.20% for Yanukovych.

This is a similar situatioin which Ghana finds itself. Thank God that Ghana is a peaceful nation and will not result in violence which does not help anyone and I commend NPP for appealing to its supporters not to resort into any kind of civil disobedience that will lead to violence and wait till the final verdict is given, so NDC should not tickle itself into believing that it is a done deal. The final decision, however, can go either way but not until it is given, let us all hold our breaths.

Q: What are the votes at stake?
A: Over 1,340,000 votes from 4,709 polling stations out of the over 24,000 polling stations sampled by the NPP are invalid due to the irregularities and breach of electoral laws; hence all 8 presidential candidates for the 2012 election will have their votes at these polling stations deducted from the declared obtained results.

This is the first hurdle where the case falls flat. Why sample 24,000 polling stations and not the entire 26,006 polling stations? If the NPP case is that in every polling station where there is an "irregularity" the entire count of that polling station must be annulled and the voters disenfranchised; then the sweep must cover all the polling stations and not just a sample.

Just for arguments sake, if in the Ashanti Region a polling station records a single over voting, then all the votes counted at that polling station must be annulled. This is the NPP logic. The baby has to be thrown away with the bath water. The missing 2006 pink sheets may well not favour Akuffo Addo and could reduce his count to well below 50%. The case before the Supreme Court cannot be deemed to be complete. There are 2006 polling station results not accounted for.

The petition does not say they will be providing supplementary evidence. It is not sufficient to say we found evidence in 4,709 polling stations, so we are happy with that. No! Quite apart from the fact that the Supreme Court cannot impose a President by declaration, the NPP petition is deficient and without merit.

From the NPP's own evidence as a case in point; the over voting does not appear to be foreign ballot papers smuggled into the boxes but instances where rejected ballots have not been counted in the total of ballots issued. To argue that all the votes of that polling station should be discounted is a worse case of malignant despair.

In my opinion the best thing to do is for the elections from all those centres where overvoting or voting without verification took place. Afari Djan made Ghanaians to understand that no verification no vote and that he would cancel results from any centre where the number of voters exceed that registered by the machine. I believe that no party involved in this mater can disagree the cancellation and re-run of elections from those centres where such insidents took place.

IF THE LAW SAYS NO VERIFICATION NO VOTE AND AS AN OBSERVER I SAW TO IT THAT THIS WAS APPLIED IN VARIOUS POLLING STATIONS I WAS COORDINATING, I SEE NO REASON WHY IN CERTAIN POLLING STATIONS IN PARTICULAR REGIONS PEOPLE WERE ALLOWED TO VOTE WITHOUT VARIFICATION WHICH ACCORDING TO THE LAW IS NULL AND VOID.
WE HAVE CASE LAWS IN GHANA AND OTHER COMMONWEALTH COUNTRIES WHEREBY ELECTION FRAUDS ARE MADE NULL AND VOID THEREFORE IS NOT GOING TO BE A SITUATION WHEREBY OUR JUDGES ARE GOING TO FIND IT DIFFICULT TO DECIDE.
ONE THING I LIKE ABOUT THIS CASE IS THAT, THERE IS NOT GO TO BE PROPAGANDA IN THE COURT ROOM. FACTS ARE THERE. T. TSIKATA CAN'T USE ANY CRIMINAL TECHINICALITIES TO PROLONG THIS CASE. HE MUST COME TO THE COURT ROOM WITH HIS COPIES OF BLUE AND PINK SHEETS SIGNED FROM POLLING STATION BY ALL POLLING AGENTS OF VARIOUS CANDIDATES TO PROOF HIS CASE.
ANOTHER LOST OF LANDMARK CASE FACING NDC IN THE COMING 2 MONTHS.

We don't know why the NPP leadership is asking itself elementary text book questions and answering them also like a nincompoop.

What, at all, is the leadership of NPP problem? What does it expect the public to do; judge the petition it has filed in the Supreme Court? Is it worried about something it may not have control of? Does it need the public as witness to the petition? Gosh! What's wrong with NPP guys? They have sent their petition to the court; wait for the judges to deliberate on it and make their decision?

Everybody knows why Akufo Addo, jnr. and others are petitioning and, also, knows that the constitution allows them to do so, if they so wish, if they find anomalies in election results that go against them. So, why is this question and answer statements to the public?

1.13: The Re-birth of Democracy. In Africa our political chronology has come through the troubled path of military coups and leadership through military command-decrees, inept and incompetent civilian administrations (Mobutu's Congo) and military control. Military administration and control is for the most part the most wasteful administration. It is undemocratic, inefficient and inept; consisting in a single individual without the education that promotes economic and legislative administration, and leadership. It is simply a low performance, political fact—an easy way out, no thought required. Some military coups have used a strategy of indicating that there will be a democratic election as an eventual goal, but the future eventuality most often ends in another coup. The same problem arises when there is a fraudulently produced executive. Because the democratic intent was stolen, it is assumed by the fraudulently elected leaders that they have the right to steal money from government activities and government controlled programs. Akufo-Addo, the NPP and Ghana have traveled through these political labyrinths in their fight to achieve a true democracy. Akufo-Addo’s task was to fight for cherished democracy while Ghana suffered mounting social and economic losses. Even now Ghana is about to begin to suffer because of a fraudulent election result.
Today we are facing a crisis, only when and if Nana Akufo-Addo becomes president through the NPP’s action in the Supreme Court will we have a politician that can lead the birth of our permanent-democracy. With Akufo-Addo, we have a learned economist leading the development of a developing economy. With Nana Akufo-Addo we have studied leadership, which is a necessarily good asset. Ghana’s hesitant lead for Africa in this new politic of democracy is at an essential place. African countries have reached an economic and political crises-point and we need a gifted-leader, not an ordinary leader who wants to make some money through the lucky chance of becoming president. We need a president who is a genius; a president who is an inspired, gifted servant-leader to soundly found a democratic covenant. Akufo-Addo is the leader we need he will lead us and found the rebirth of our permanent democracy. The establishment of a permanent democracy is always a troubled road leading to the achievement of true, revolutionary-democracy. We will see how Africa has learned the transitional-way now that Egypt, Southern Sudan and other North African and Middle Eastern counties are on the democratic-stage. Let us in Ghana pray we have led a troubled way to true, permanent-democracy and that we will win our needed leadership in Akufo-Addo and the NPP. Now we will begin to show how to develop democracy and revolutionary-capitalism that can produce enterprise and jobs. Let our show of founding a permanent-democracy become equaled by our show of developing a revolutionary-capitalism that will bring all the workers and entrepreneurs together in a new economy based on the capital-incentive process. Let us pray Ghana earns, by her vote, the leadership potential, that our leader, Nana Akufo-Addo, holds for us.

I think the publication is biased.As a floater,the questions we are asking are that; 1,Was Nana bediatuo and Kwabena Adjapong not in the EC strong room,and were they not in contact with the polling agents of the party? 2,When they were signing the sheets in the strongroom,did they crosscheck with their agents to verify their results before appending their signatures? 3,If the results that they had from their agents were not corresponding with the numbers that were coming into the EC strongroom, why did they not raise an alarm ,as Rojo did in 2008.(we all saw it in the movie "An African Election)? If you have Legitimate evidence why did you not go to the police . What hurts me most is that,Ghana has been disgraced in the presence of the international community by the attacks on Journalist by the NPP hoodlums.
