Why is it that the NPP MPs are not saying they are boycotting Parliament? Is it the fat salary, allowances, car loan, ex-gratia etc? There are good and dedicated members in the Party, ready to rescue the Party from the present leadership - the bums - in the opposition. Shut the NPP down and start anew, a position of strength and not from such reckless attitudes.
The evidence we see here, shows a BROKEN and dispirited party, being led with a bankrupt ideas; such philosophy, as demonstrated by the weak leadership, will sink the NPP further down into its grave.
KICK the bums out, and there are disciplined individuals ready to put real live, back in the Party. Throwing some calculated phrases, here and there, actually exposes the weaknesses in the leadership; no message whatsoever!

If that is the case, then WHY OH WHY do we continue to hear from party operatives that "we are going to challenge ..." ? What they should be telling us is that "we have submitted petitions to the SC challenging X or Y number of constituency results that we believe there are question marks on ..." for instance?

May be I have not been following the stories, but I have not actually heard a single coherent confirmation of such a submission. If it is now that any party is planning to contest the results of parliamentary ballots, isn't that rather late in the day? Or am I simply going bonkers? I don't get it Mr Akomea!

In opposition they allowed the Kufuor regime to mind its own business. As a result the NPP looted the Ghana government for eight good years. The fat cats looted the economy from cash (Kwadwo Mpiani), bungalow (Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey), cooking pots (Sekyi-Hughes) etc…..70% of the richest people in Ghana are NPP apparachicks. In the case of NPP, they believe they know better than anybody else and they are the only people who have the divine right to rule Ghana thus they oppose everything NDC does if it is not from the NPP, whether good or bad, from, Chinese loans, judgment debts, appointments and even the inauguration of President Mahama. This enabled the NDC to always be on their toes in whatever they do. From this observation, you can all agree with me that the NPP are better in opposition than NDC. Fellow Ghanaians, let us ensure that NPP remains in opposition for thirty years. After that time NDC will improve everything and NPP will come back and rule Ghana till thy kingdom come.

NDC's "brofo o, brofo!" The NPP's decision to boycott the inauguration is "unfortunate." Wow! Please can't they kind of paraphrase the whole thing? They know, more than anyone else in Ghana that they rigged the elections with the aid of Kwadjo Afari Gyan. Strangely, they think cheating in an election is just a cool thing to do.

The NDC has been going around telling Ghanaians and the world that the NPP don't have any case---no evidence---and people shouldn't borther about anything; they said that the NPP was wasting time. The NDC don't seem to get the message. We're talking about electoral fraud! We must all stand up against corruption and all forms of fraud and cheating in our society. We must do that withour fear or favour!

The one thing that many Ghanaians are praying for, is the safety and security of our noble Justices. Govt must come out and tell Ghanaians about the safety and securtiy our our Noblemen and women who now faces a Herculean task of

Quite surprisingly, they've broken into NPP's office then they broke into one of NPP's top lawyers, Gloria Akufo's office. The recent one being their attempt to stop NPP's lawyers from filing the writ at the Supreme Court. We've heard that one of their apparatchiks attempted to cause confusion at the Supreme Court office itself. Wow! What kind of evil and dubious people are these?

The think we're in those dark days when they could brutalize, maime and kill people at will. The NDC is "Sasabonsam Party" and Ghanaians ought to know. Their thugs been going around rampaging our towns and cities forcibly, siezing lorry parks and public toilets from its assigned operators, when asked why their response was "because our govt is in power."

The name or NDC group itself, doesn't fit the description of a political party; that descriptive representation is deceitful! The group consist of some thugs, evil people and envious bunch of characters, masquerading political corridors as politicians and statesmen.

From all the recorded 'info' that was uncovered before the elections, it's clear that the NDC planned very well to succeed in rigging the elections. It's no surprise to hear Koku Anyidoho bragging that "my sole ambitino in this world, is to make sure that Nana Akufo-Addo loses in this eletions" If he and the NDC had nothing plotted to rig the election, as sensible statement could be "my
sole ambition in this world, is to make sure that the NDC wins in this election."

The above quoted words was not a fabrication---they're Koku Anyidoho's own words. Folks could contact him for verification or otherwise. Some people may say he has the right to make those statements. But we live in a real world. If anyone makes any kind of loose public statement to cause destruction, chaos or mischief, prior to it's occurance, that individual should be held accountable or responsible!

The NPP says it's going to contest the results of 38 Constituencies in court. That too is making the NDC wiggle in their seats? Hmmm! They're scared to death. They've already made a bad move by filing their case against the NPP's writ that was filed at the Supreme Court while they hadn't been called by the court.

It's becoming very interesting as events keep unfolding. Let's all hope that the Supreme Court would make their final ruling on the elections fraud that took place in December 7-8, 2012. May God bless our Homeland Ghana. Amen!

I am anxiously waiting to see what would unfold out of the court cases. One of my former lecturers ever educated us about sophisticated forms of bribery and corruption in the real world. With the decision of the NPP to go to court on the presidential elections and some of the parliamentary elections, I can only think of sophistication in rigging if NPP can win their cases. Sociologists talk about "defamiliarising the familiar", and Cultural Studies practitioners also talk about "deconstructing constructed deceptions". The onus of proof in the court cases lies with the petitioners, the NPP. Let Ghana benefit from whatever lessons may come out of the court cases, whether the petitioners win or lose. Happy New Year to all!

Some are questioning whether NPP can go to court to contest the 38 parliamentary seats. This seems a legitimate question. NPP Chairman Jake made their intention known on 28 December after filing their petition on the presidential elections, barely at the end of the 21 day time period allowed. I suppose, they knew the difference between parliamentary and presidential elections and rules governing the processes? Otherwise, he would have been coming from the dream land. One obvious difference is that the parliamentary elections are not challenged at the supreme court, but the high courts. Let's research the time scale for challenging the parliamentary elections.

Another was also talking about the 1.3 million votes also affecting the parliamentary elections. I wonder whether the person did vote and in the process used one ballot paper for both the presidential and the parliamentary?

My biggest headache is why people will not allow the country the benefit of learning from our mistakes, if there may be any, and through legal means. The inauguration of the president-elect and the next parliament are all constitutional. So also is the use of the court establishments to seek redress about aspects of the elections. The biggest flaw to me is in the Constitution. The framers failed to envisage a situation like this where a president-elect may be sworn-in when the same person's election is legally being challenged in court? A case for constitutional review project!
