  This is a well written piece. It is true that the
  judicial philosophy of a judge can affect the outcome of a case. Consequently, in the US, you are allowed to disqualify a trial judge once a right. But in the appellate Courts, you are stuck with the panel you are given. I believe the parties will be stuck with the panel that will be designated to hear the election Petition pending before the Supreme Court. Although the biases of the justices may somewhat influence their deliberations,all you can do as a lawyer, is to be preared, answer the inquiries of the judges and hope for the best. This is a case of first impression and I trust that the Justices will be thorough and will make the country proud.

  It is absolutely incredible to imagine what matter the brain cells of people bred in the Ashanti region are made of. The man Kuffuor sounds far more ignorant than Nkomea and the rest of the NPP idiots. How on earth can you determine with such bold assertion that the EC under Dr Afari Djan, actually rigged the elections in favor of John Mahama. Indeed the characteristics of a typical human being can be deceptive. These people do not understand simple logic, that you cannot win an election in a 10 region country, where most things are cut straight down ethnic lines. Secondly even in the NPP stronghold of the Ashanti Region, the non-Ashantis could very well out-number the actual indigenes, who without a shadow of doubt vote massively along tribal lines, the same tendency exists in the Northern and Volta Regions. Third but not least is that the other Akan groups of the various regions are not in full alliance with the Ashanti/Akyem Akan group. They should live and die smart about the true composition of Ghana!
