Guys in politics, we talk about numbers. His opinion is the best way to deal with situations in politics. Political enemies are only enemies in the sight of the masses but not within their own confidential corridors. Especially in Democratic govt. When you drag stuff for a longer time, the value diminishes, same as time heals. People have limitations, and when their desire is lost , they tend to sympathize with the opponent and that is where backfiring sets in. Majority of the population are easy to forget and sympathize, when such happens it destroys NPP chances of getting 2016 becuase it gives weapons to the opposition. ALl they have to campaign about is PEACE and they win. Think about it

For all those who think this action will have an adverse effect on the NPP should rather think about themselves. I believe the NPP win or lose will emerge stronger than you all think. NPP is not a personality cult. It has founding principles, that is followed. For those who live by other people's sentiments such as Sekou will be disappointed after all is said and done. In the first place the court action has not even started, let alone decided. So how can anybody in his right mind acuse Nana Akuffo Addo of dragging anything? those who do not believe in the freedoms and provissions in the constitution that allows for such action should shut up. The many who trusted and voted for Akuffo-Addo expect him to do this. When the democratic party of USA challenged election results nothing changed but rather êtrengthened the party. This action is also about corruption and abuse of our laws and rules and regulations. Anybody whomis against this is saying he/she endorsed corrupt practices. Give us a break. The case will be heard by the court, and it's after which comments like this may have meaning.

What is this supposed to mean: "why I said he should have conceded is because the Electoral Commission conducted the election and declared the results in favuor of the NDC. When NPP was in power you remember even when people were allegedly massaging figures in 2008 they still couldn’t get fifty plus one, this time NDC had it so something went wrong with the NPP campaign [this time around], so the NPP need to go back and do their home work well and focus on 2016”. What nonsense is this? Never knew seeking legal redress in court in Ghana now is an ABOMINATION. Can you Sekou tell us how the EC can look into, investigate and enhance electoral trustworthiness if these allegations are not looked into at the courts. If you think the EC will under it's own volition thoroughly investigate NPP's concerns without any court impressing upon it to do so then you better get out of Ghana politics. could not put up a credible funding policy.Again,good governance is not only about FREE SHS which NPP anchored their hopes on.They failed to explore other sectors in the economy.You can never win an election with a bad strategy.The funding was a very tough problem for the party,some were saying they will use oil cash,others were talking about Capitation Grant,some were also directly accusing Northerners and figures were flying all about.That was not good for the party especially when Mahama told Nana Addo at the IEA debate that 70% of the oil cash goes into the Budget leaving 30% for Heritage Fund and so on.Nana Addo also messed himself up by putting the political problems in Ivory Coast on Mahama.There again the President shrugged off and said Nana Addo doesn't know anything about presidential contacts between the 2 States.In short,I didn't like the NPP'S campaign,it lacked lot of substance.Thank you.

Our Constitution allows any Ghanaian who is not happy with the results of any general election to take the matter to court, and so i don't see how Nana's action should be an obstacle to NPP. It would appear we have soon forgotten that in 2004,some members of the NDC took the EC to court for the same alleged malpractices in the 2004 elections.In view of this,i find it difficult to understand why some people would want us to sweep this one under the carpet.If the issues raised by the NPP are real,then they have to be dealt with , otherwise the 2016 general election will be an exercise in futility and it will lead the whole nation to hell.We should not be afraid to establish the truth about the 2012 election results.If indeed,the 2012 general election was perfect, then we should look forward to do the same things in 2016,otherwise the electoral system should be overhauled going forward.Without the truth there can on genuine peace.
