FOLLOWING THAT HE CONTINUED PERFORMINHG HIS DUTIES AS SPEAKER EVEN ON THE DAY OF SWEARING IN OF THE PRESIDENT. I'm not a fun of the Daily Guide but sometimes we need not rush to condemn what others write only to end up making fool of ourselves.

There is nothing in this headline that suggests Mr Adjaho vacated the "SEAT" of Speaker rather the paper is referring to his parliamentary seat and you need to know that the paper can only say his seat which means parliamentary seat which was the only seat he held up until last Monday morning and don't forget that newspapers don't give live coverage and not everybody watched what you have watched to know about that and finally it is good for the paper to let the many ignorant ones who may be thinking he is still MP to know that he has vacated the seat because of his new position.
