I think it is too late - with the way he was treated, he will not be psychologically fit to play. GFA just don't get it - managing players is a skill you need to have. What has happened to the Ayews can happen to anyone of the players. There is a way you say "NO, not this time" to someone and he will understand that it is fair and on merit. But I have followed this closely and I can smell a lot of rot at the GFA. The coach's administrative and arbitration skills is for lack of words - pathetic!!!

One of the reasons why some people advocated for European coaches is that some of us thought a local coach could not be strict enough with the players when he needs to. And then there is the corruption fact, but that's another story.

Ayew's exclusion from the squad has nothing to do with the coach having a problem with Abedi. It's a discipline problem and our coach took care of the problem just the way it's supposed to be done.

Ghana has even been able to play without Essien. Sure we can play without Ayew or his brothers. The Black Stars is a team, not a family property. No single player is bigger than the team!

It is narrow minded to even suggest a government intervention. Does the government know more than the coach? Not as far as soccer is concerned. Thank you, Coach. We are behind you!!

For those assumming he didnt want to be there becuase his brother was not there, i beleive its only a reflection of how siniters you all think. Even common sense does not permit to think like that. here's why, he asked from the beginning to be granted till tuesday, the boys story did not change from the very beginning, he was under treatment that is scheduled for days....and needed the coaches support to complete the scheduled treatment. Was that too much to ask?. The boy has honestly been an all-giver for the stars and NO-ONE can prove to me from any instance when he showed anything less than total commitment, If there was trust between the two this should not have been a media subject...truth is there is something else that makes the coach make a decision of your key player like this.

There's no doubt about Dede Ayew's talent and surely,he'll be missed but rules and guild lines ought to be respected and adhered to.
The decision taken by the head coach is very right and should serve as a warning to others that only those willing to represent the country with pride and dedication will be supported and encouraged.
Dede must be reminded that he like his father,are very good footballers but if he chooses to go the same divisive way that prevented his dad despite his immense talent and skills from winning many trophies for Ghana,his career won't be complete and fully accomplished.
Serve your country with pride and dedication,i will advise.Enough said.
