just read an article entitled"frquently asked questions,why the npp took the matter to coutr"Ghanaweb,5/1/13.you may not be lawyers,but common sence will tell you that,all is not well with the party you are trying to kill yourself for.They claimed in that report that,they were seeking the help of the court to nullify, about 1,340,000 votes,and have these deducted from the total votes of the presidential candidates,but non from the parliamentry.The common sence in this is that,if these voted, without being verified,and therefore,pleading with the court to nullify it,why not do it across board,but only for preidential.
Again,if only 20%,ie 4709,out of 24,000 pooling centers,produced these anomalies,what prevented them from carrying on the investigation on the whole 24,000 centres ?

The petition at the Supreme Court was filed by Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, Akuffo Addo, Mahamadu Bawumia on behalf of the NPP and not the NPP per se which filed the petition at the Supreme Court.

It is this weird thinking of the NDC that prompted it to go to court to join the petition as "Citizen NDC", which has turned the NDC into a laughing stock in the eyes of discerning Ghanaians.

The E.C. is not the final arbiter on legal issues in Ghana and cannot be taken serious since any sane Ghanaian knows that the membership of the EC was selected from the NDC party in 1992.

Look in the mirror and see the glaring mistakes you made. Change the composition of your team. Younger is better. Obama became president at 47. Cameron became prime minister at 44. NPP needs a shake up to conform with the times.

I think the chief justice of the supreme court should ban the discussing of this case in the media before the hearing of the case. In the developed world once a case is filed and called to the bench, there is always an order given by the judge to all parties including the lawyers not to discuss the case any where even between jurors until all the facts have been presented by all parties invoved. It is a travesty we are witnessing in our young democracy.

The action of those who took the case to the Supreme Court speak of itself. They are not arguing about the voters. What they are saying is that the EC connived with NDC to make Mahama the winner. The voters voted accurately and fairly but some of them were not properly registered. The votes of some constituencies were over and above the numbers which they should have, etc. So your comment that what the three people have done were stupefied by the accounts of domestic and foreign observers is not correct. They attest to voters doing their thing of voting accurately but they don't know about over-voting or switching of votes, etc.
