Scalding buttocks for enuresis has no precedence in medical history or common sense, and to think enuresis is the sole result of indolence, betrays an uninformed and underlying cognitive problem of the perpetrators of this crime.

The least the guardians could do now to help their ward is to do observational studies on her bedwetting problem, and come up with a diagnosis, a plan, and an intervention.

The next thing they can do is to take their ward to a medical doctor who will take a history of the case and assess for any underlying problem, and also explain the anatomy and physiology of micturition to her. Based on his findings, he will then write a prescription.

There is a role that the guardians have to play to help this girl overcome her enuresis. Firstly, they have to admit their gross ignorance and wickedness in scalding her buttocks, and ask for her forgiveness. Secondly, they may have to ask for her corporation in resolving the enuresis.

Limitation in late night eating and drinking,
and encouraging her to do daily exercises will help to resolve this seemingly incalcetrant problem.
