Bravo, K Badu. Welcome home. This is what majority of posters were talking about. Deal with the issue and leave out the nationalities of those involved in illegal mining in Ghana. I am quite impressed that you have toned down your rhetorics on Chinese nationals. Man GHana is our country let us respect the laws, let our regulators work, let's encourage our people to work hard. Yes education of miners is very important, structured methods very essential. However, I dare say that the involvement of Chinese in small scale mining will not stop! The mining law which gives exclusive right to Ghanaians in small scale mining is silent on whether or not foreigners can be employed by Ghanaians in the business. That is why focusing on Chinese at the beginning of our posts was a non starter.

Please dont sit there and wait. take action now! how many ghanians are in china doing anything? why will the village chiefs allowing this to happen? mahama does not live in any of these villages so please dont wait for him. he cannot hear your cry when your grandchildren come out deformed. defy all rules and protect your next generation. dont stand there like sheep and the predators deprive you of your descendants security.
