  The West will never give any African country sofisticated weapons but they will readily give their allies the best weaponry so that they can help the West bully poor African nations and topple our leaders. Right now the West is colonizing Africa with brute military weapons. We Africans are just stupid pigs, we give our selves easily to the West. We allowed our brothers and sisters to be sold into slavery in the 14th century because we could not defend our selves. We are inviting the west again into Africa to defend us militarily against supposed muslim terrorists in Mali, Somalia, Giuinea, Ivory Coast, Congo, Sudan and several other countries. What prevents the West from turning around and say "you fools, shut up or we blow you off". Then we raise our hands and say "Yes sir master" in the 21st century. The West can not go to Iran and do this because Iranians have balls in their testis and can stand up and defend themselves. What we need is send our kids to study in Iran and learn the technology that the West will never teach our children because they want us to remain dependent on them. India, Malaysia, Brazil and even China woke up from their sleep and they are now Giants. Africa is the craddle of civilzation but we went back into the craddle and are not coming out. Now the West is trying hard to prove that modern human beings did not come from Africa. The West with the help of some Arabs are trying to disprove that the ancient Egyptian Kings are not Africans and Africans are quiet. What is wrong with Africans?

  Either the report is poorly presented, or the journalist who has no understanding of SALW (small arms and light weapons) proliferation, has poorly presented the findings. What we would be interested in is what are the percentages of weapons per country being diverted. Are African countries officially purchasing weapons from Iran? what are the %ages of theft, loss, missing/diversion etc...
