Mr. Asamoah: you may agree that if the President's Party has the majority in Assembly, an emergency law can be presented and voted on to authorize him to stop disturbances and disrespect of law you call democratic way of "peaceful" demonstration any form considered appropriate. You may recall the birth of Nsawam Prison if you are aged enough to remember. Tell your loyalist/supporters and spokesmen to respect the Supreme Court and wait for a final decision without encouraging any irresponsible demonstration upfront. Ghana needs more respect that NPP thinking that the party is above opposition party and have to govern any given time. If the voting of the public is not respected but the Supreme Court would be acceptable to you, WAIT.

If NDC have majority in the Assembly, it takes one member to initiate a motion to become a law for the President to act. If Mr. Asamoah is aged enough to remember the birth of Nsawam Prison, he will be careful to throw words around to incite demonstration that will disrepute governance by the President. Just control your "loyal supporters" to cool down, take a deep breath and wait for the Supreme Court to decide on your Suit. Anything more/less than patience is disrespect of law and should be confronted head on. The public spoke through the ballot boxes and if NPP disagree to be an opposition party, the Supreme Court is the only second and final decider. Please wait and be smart enough to respect the law and don't turn it into dictatorial regime. You will be a big looser for more years to come and this is a test for NPP.

The npp is fast becoming an albatross hanging around Ghana's neck.I heard that radio discussion and the picture yaw asamoah portrayed in his press report on behalf of the npp make one wonder how a whole party can stoop so low with such blatant lies.If asamoah can issue a press release on his parties behalf on such flimsy ground based on lies then God help us all.I am at a lose as to what the motive is,but to warn of destabilizing the country and making Ghana ungovernable based on a live radio discussion which was mainly sharing personal opinions and does not reflect and represent party policies is worrying indeed.Many who watched the program were shocked by asamoah's press release for it seems to me that it was meant to incite and cause even more tension and escalate animosity between the parties.This is evidence that people like asamoah have an agenda which is wrong they are therefore warned that their actions will bite back at them at the long ran backfire.We want the stability of Ghana and we must all help to ensure that.

I am so much disappointed at Buabeng Asamoah for twisting the discourse that went on between him and Kobby Acheampong. In fact, I watched the program yesterday and my heart bled when I heard Asamoah twisting the whole thing just for the sake of cheap political favor. I am just imagining how someone like Asamoah can be entrusted with any public office with such blatant propaganda. And as Kobby in his reaction put it,the campaign season is over and the NPP should stop this cheap politics. In any case, the NPP has no right to question the legitimacy of President John Dramani Mahama until otherwise proven by the Supreme Court. To say the least, Buabeng Asamoah has no sense of remorse and this is clear for every Ghanaian since most Ghanaians heard the discussions he and Kobby had on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV.
