They breed them at Akan churches, and they all tag along to their respective tribal or ethnic associations twice a month or more. Their speech patterns are worse than the ghetto Ebonics. Even the ones from affluent homes don't fit in when they try to mingle with other groups. Usually their only refuge is with Asians and other White Kids, especially the young Ghanaian females. I do often sympathize with them, but I do blame their extremely backward parents - why on this Gods green earth do you force yourself to go to America, and then fight tooth and nail to make everybody want to believe you are what you will always be - a Black African from Ghana. I have never understood why Africans, Asians and Mexicans die trying to go to America, then when they get there, they act as though somebody wants to strip them of their physical being. Inferiority complex indeed.

Me I was born and bred in Ghana, from the time I was 5 as far as I can remember, I loved everything white, foreign , western. I am 100 years old now, and as black and Ghanaian a ever, and I won't change one thing about my life.

Isn't Ashanti the region with the most natural resources upon which the nation spins? (thus until the oil find in the W/R and C/R)? I mean we have a lot to boast of and therefore needs some respect from the rest of the regions.In all other fields in nation building, Ashantis can parade high caliber of manpower. This is not so in many, i say many regions and while they are being fed from the national kitty filled up by the Ashante Region, they do not respect and hate the hands that feeds them. This stupidity must stop in Ghana....why is everybody throwing insults ah..Ghana was never like this when i left three years ago....I am a friend to Kingsley and i know Dennis too and i know all that happened. The incident that brought about shooting is simple, Kingsley was Dennis boy and he was working under Dennis for their sakawa business....after Kingsley finally got to know how to do the business he decided to quit from Dennis as his boss. After a while a close friend to Kingsley snatched Dennis girlfriend and it became a big fight because Dennis suspected that Kingsley was behind his friend snatching him Dennis the boss girlfriend...It started over a year ago and a week before kingsley Death...Dennis and his boys tried to kill kingsley at party but luckily kingsley had a gun on him so he gave a warning shot and it deterred dennis and his boys and Kingsley had the advantage to run away....Kingsley thought it is not nice to kill fellow ghanaians so he let them go scot-free....Unfortunately Dennis didn't think as Kingsley did so they planned and gunned him down from a close range. Please fellow Ghanaians this is a very good advise to the boys of today who are only thinking of quick money instead of working to get it.

They kids were not beaten by parents.

Many Ghanaians i grew up with were caned in school and grew up to be normal people. It is the American culture of violence that makes a young man pick up an asault rifle and shoot up 20 innocent school children.

definitely an unfortunate situation. parents need to consider the communities they will live in when they immigrate because immigrants usually end up in poor areas and their children become influenced by that community..columbus is one of these places

I have just visited the area and heard of this news and has since then been very very disappointed to say the least.We need to live as brothers and bring home, Ghana nothing but pride to our families and love ones. May the decease rest in peace and my condolences to the family. But to the perpetrator, may the investigation lead to fair justice to him as deserves.
