  during my research i found that mother in sunyani have knowledge on the courses of the problem, for that matter there only need solution to it since many of them do not know how to cure for it.

  All maternity homes and private hospitals in Ghana should use a simple tool called the post natal depression questionnaire to score the patients . if they score 11 then they are post natally depressed.

  30% globally for post-partum depression is normal. However I suspect that for poorer women the realities of motherhood can be more brutal, and sometimes justifiably depressing- especially in disenfranchised areas, or more patriarchal areas of Ghana were the mental health needs of women are superceded by those of men.
