I have been waiting patently for them to open their foul mouths in front of NPP's media trial of the case that they themselves sent to the Supreme court.
NPP sent the case and then held a press conference to talk about the merits of the case. The EC files their defence only for the NPP to hold a press conference and cast doubts on the EC's submission. Next comes NDC's decision to call 4600 witnesses, then the NPP goes to the press again.
All this while, the GBA remains deaf and dumb.

Lawyers and non lawyers should be allowed to thoroughly discuss legal cases in oourt. That is freedom of expression. It would not mean that they are giving the verdict even if they state their verdict. I know that Ghana is following the British but in the USA this is not the case. Legal cases in court are openly discussed as seen in the O J Simpson, and Timothy McVeigh trials. I recall that intelligent lawyer Van Susteran thoroughly discussing these cases with others on CNN. that is true democracy. Those who believe in free speech should lead the campaign to abolish that rule that takes freedom of speech away from the citizenry by barring them to speak freely on cases before courts.

You cannot win every court case because you have evidence,that's illogic.There are other factors like accuracy,precision,investigation and cross checkings.Anybody can fabricate false evudence and present it in court.Remember what happened to the Director of IMF and the hotel maid in New York somewhere last year,where he wad charged with rape.The girl had certified evidence in court but the court dismissed the case because it wasn't credible.Therefore NPP has no right whatsoever to fool their supporters that they are going to win the case.Their case could be as well thrown out very easily,going to court doesn't mean you have won your case,this must be clear.I don't see how you have lost elections in the polls and the court declares you winner.The fact that the International Community have attested the elections to be free and fair is enough to close the case unless we decide to isolate Ghana.Thank you.
