Since NPP raised their objection last week, I have read on various Ghanaian media websites, including Ghanaweb that Justice Doste was once the Volta Regional Chairman of the NPP. If he has never been a member of the party, then it is very sad. The fact is, if he was the Regional Chairman, then that cannot be denied because there would be documents at the Electoral Commission to that effect as Party Executives are expected to be registered with the EC. Again, there would be records at the party's regional office. Those who doubt him should go and check for themselves or give him the benefit doubt. Ghanaians should stop tarnishing the image of Judges and Justices as it does not augur well for administration of justice,the rule of law and Ghana's democracy.

Thanks to the Mighty God, who caused Savana Plains to quench the fire---nobody would have known the whereabouts of those noble people.

The NDC is full of evil people; telling lies, or deception, killing, mollesting of people they perceive as threats to them, impersonation, stealing and embezzlement, not to talk about rigging of elections is common to them.

So I guess you're not very surprised to notice these NDC ciminals using your name to write gargabe stuff. Oh, have you so soon forgotten what they did to some of our noble glergy eg. Pastor Mensah Otabil of Central Gospel Church?

NDC is noted for all unthinkable wicked stuff. Just be careful about the NDC. It's good though that you've pointed things out.

I still can't understand WHY the Supreme Court of Ghana, with as many as 15 justices at times, resort to this OBSOLETE and ARCHAIC method of empanelling some judges to sit on constitutional cases. WHY DO THAT, NEGRO?? What the heck are the other justices doing anyway?

In a serious case like the NPP's challenge of "presidential electoral results", WHY CAN’T ALL THE JUDGES SIT ON THE CASE AND MAKE A JUDGMENT that Ghanaians wouldn’t question or second guess the justices?

The point is this: This is a very serious case and we need all the judges to hear the case. Look at what's going on now with queries of some judges and their apparent political affiliations. All this foolishness will not happen if all the judges sit on the case and even far worse, whatever judgment the "empanelled justices" will arrive at would be again looked at as some judges sided or have affiliations with either the NDC or the NPP or KKK.

If empanelling justices to sit on cases is what Ghana's Supreme Court does, it MUST make exception in some serious cases like this one to AVOID suspicions in judges’ decisions. In the huge federal United States, there have been ONLY 9 Supreme Court judges since the creation the American Republic and ALL 9 Judges sit on every case that comes to the court and that avoids subsequent and aftermath arguments and Monday quarterbacking mumbo jumbo.

By the way, if we know the time Jesus Christ, Peter the Great, Confucius, etc., were born, then why can’t Ghanaians get to know whether justice Dotse was once the Regional Chairman of the NPP in the Volta region? Why should that become such a mystery? Don’t Ghanaians keep records and even how long ago was that??

If for the whole VR, I'd have heard of him. But people from Kpando do not normally bear the name "Dotse". It is a southern Ewe name. I think there is a confusion with someone else.

These issues are not being discussed on the Eweland and CEANA lists, else someone would have clarified his alleged chairmanship long ago.

What Anan should know is that the justice also has a constitutional right to association, albeit that is limited by his position on the SC.

We cannot have any of these justices not to have supported any political party or does not support any of the candidates,what we need to pray for is their support for a particular candidate does not work against their fair judgement or the evidence before them.
If we continue with this that means we will not have anybody to sit on our cases and NDC should caution this Amaliba guy to stop speaking for the party on this issue.
This guy has been commiting many legal blunders including asking the party to do away with the party's logo when Nana Konadu said it belongs to her instead of making sure that does not happen but we continue to allow this guy to be talking on behalf of the party at radio stations.

Why he has to behave like the NPP people,does he know if the man in question supports Akuffo Addo or President Mahama,if he was NPP member does it mean he supports Akuffo Addo especially now that he is a Supreme court judge?

In that way we can import judges to rule this case since litigants do not have confidence in our SC. Then we can elect the Queen to rule, since John Mahama is not acceptable by the NPP and Nana Addo not acceptable by the NDC. Better still let us divide Ghana into NPPland where only candidates from Ashanti/Akyem will be elected to lead and an NDCland where any Ghanaian can be elected to lead. For all-inclusiveness sake I will opt to live in NDCland!!!!!!!
