  This report is not surprising to anybody who has lived in Ghana for the last 50 years. We have negleted the concept of PUBLIC HEALTH as a nation. Politicians, Health Ministers and the people in general are all guilty of this problem. What do we expect when people have to respond to the call of Nature anywhere they can find and rubbish all over the country? What do we expect when people are drinking from dirty sources and food safety is not on the mind of the ordinary person? People are selling & buying food one meter away from dirty and stinking gutter or pile of rubbish.
