Why do technical people force themselves to be administrators? Anybody can be an administrator, train administrators and not turn doctors into administrators. Waste of resources.

Enough of the mismanagement,power struggles and wranglings of the nations hospitals.Prof Hesse must relinquish the other posts if she has to be the CEO.It is only fair and common sense for the board chairman to see to it that this is the right step to take.Time to give priority to patients' instead of power struggles.

What kind of hospital is the one that you have to bribe someone for a stretcher to put a patient on? where nurses have no empathy with patients? Where Doctors think they are demi Gods? the list can go on and on . Ask any Ghanaian both back home and abroad who has not have a really bad experience of our hospitals? Why are these so called professors only interested in post.as they know that these posts are a key to their richess If I have my way, every doctor, nurse right up to the porters in our hospitals should be dismissed and let them re-apply for their posts, with a pledge that they well serve the country and man kind and not their pockets or arrogance.

The day to day management and administration of this august institution has to be done a some one with specialty in hospital management/administration just as it is done in the developed world. This draws a clear distinction between the managers who set the running of the entity and the paramedicals who do the operational duties i.e caring and administering medical procedures. Period
