Yes Maame Efua, I just wonder why the so called Peace Council has not made a statement condemning the NDC-foot soldiers' storming of the Supreme Court with canes. And if adult Ghanaians, including the NDC lawyer and MP,James Agaga,maintain that the foot soldiers were right to storm the Supreme Court the way they did and nobody can stop them, then we have a big problem of anarchy looming over us. The Peace Council is, in this respect a useless group of people, who must be forgotten about entirely.

What maame Afua Akoto is saying is quite right.I have in recent times noticed what the chairman of the council have been saying, all against the NPP.From date one after the elections till when they might have realised their mistakes, the chairman of the council the, Rev professor Asante who is a renowed man of God, kept on lambassting the NPP on all fronts at every little thing he found aganst them.In fact,I must say the truth,with the due respect I have for him I could not gather courage to scold him for his bias assesment of the situation involving the recent elections.My candid advice I have for him and all renowed men of God is that they must be circumspect of all political stage they mount to be careful not to dent their reputation as men of God.

Only the NPP pig-headedly holds on to its recalcitrant stand and pipedream. Rule of Law, democracy and the courts are where we go to seek fairness. But when you try to use it to undermine the very democracy and constitution you claim to champion,with your po-faced brazen disingeneousness, then obviously the preist or peace council will look on you with disdainful, haughty silence. Worst of all, the NPP has developed tunnel vision. It sees nothing wrong with all the opprobrium coming at it from all angles, even from its own ranks.

More so, when only 40% of the results had been made official!.. The Peace Council was very right - (100% right in deed) for the timely intervention and condemnation of the NPP action, considering the grave potenial that pronouncement carried. Kakra Essamuah's comment appears to be his personal feeling and expression about the events taking place in the country... and had even qualify it with the the word .."if".... Essamuah did not call for a coup. He said he would support one...
