  The UG needs the support of all aand sundry to recapture its lost position as the 1st university in the country and Africa. It is good that the CCTV cameras are put in the exam halls to eliminate cheating. The scandal that rocked the UG during Prof. Asenso's tenure as VC seriously affected the image of the great institution of ours. Bravo, Prof Ayitey!!

  Papers papers papers without good data base for research. the number of papers required for promotion is too much and without any proper data base the lecturers are made to concentrate on research which is time consuming without the REQUiRED DATA BASE. CAN PROF confidently tell us the number of papers he published that enabled him to be a Prof and what his outfit is demanding from his colleagues. POLITICS HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  University Standard in Ghana in general have sank so low.University graduates must be encouraged to do a lot of independent work and produce original works. Research work must be originaland should not be directed towards only industrial needs but for the sake of sheer knowledge before discovering its industrial application.Attention should be paid to allocation of adequate fund for each individual research candidate.
