OFFICE OF THE ODIKRO
a companion of the black star!
What is the point in marking an independence day in Ghana when our brothers and sisters were singled out by the rebels for all sorts of inhuman treatment? What mutual benefit are we talking about here? What is the fate of black people languishing in Libyan jails for no other reason than the colour of their skin?
The Libyan government can do far better in improving the relations between us by dealing effectively with this problem and compensating the families of victims of the pogroms visited on black Africans in the wake of the putsch against Col. Gaddafi!
Are the Libyans expecting us to forget about the blood of our brothers and sisters spilled on their streets and in their make-shift jails? Are they not simply adding more insults unto our injuries with such empty theatricals?
They should come again!
Forward Ever! Backwards Never!

Any body who supports people who overthrew a govt that within 20 years had advanced from cave-dwellers to make socio-economic advances that even America could not achieve with hundreds of years with millions of slave labor and the stolen mineral wealth of dozens of countries around the world, needs his or her mind diagnosed. The current regime in Libya have continued to single out Black Africans as targets because Ghadafi, against the wishes of other Arabs, supported the development aspirations of Black Africa.
Mrs whatever her name is, should be deported back to Libya. The regime in Libya is definitely not a friend of Africa. Away you dogs.

Agree and who told that chief director to say that crap that achievements of Libya had earned support and commitment of Ghana, what achievements, the Sarkozy revolution that saw many Black Africans suspecting of supoporting Gadafi lost their lives with some still in Libyan jails being tortured everyday, why he he can't make his speech without mentioning that revolution that Ghana like many African countries did not support, who told him Libya is emerging democracy or he does not know what is democracy?
It is that revolution the West helped happen is now paying a prize for which is the Alegerian crisis due to the proliferation of arms in that region.

The nation state of Libya now has to learn much from Ghana after their turbulent revolution over a year ago. Ghanaians would not forget Ghaddafi and Kwame Nkrumah whose proto-nationalism have become very controversial but ideas would continue to affect both nations for many decades to come.

I am against all coups but the death of the murderer-traitor, Kotoka, was his just comeuppance. Kotoka very, very brutally executed Major-General Joseph Barwuah, then the Ghana Armed Forces Chief of Staff, when he refused to join the traitors coup. General Barwuah will forever live as the only officer of the GAF who defended the constitution of the republic with his very life. May he rest in blessed peace in the bosom of God.
Mahama is well-adviced to stop the fraud of going about claiming to be an Nkrumaist, and above all restore the name of Accra International Airport. The name KIA was an illegal act by an illegal, anti-constitutional government to honour a bloody murderer and co-traitor of the entire African race.
Libya did not have a revolution but rather a counter-revolution led by Nato forces and their jihadist-terrorist puppets. Gaddafi, despite all his faults, was a supreme patriot of Libya and, in his latter days, a solid Pan-Africanist. He contributed much to peace in Mali, Tchad and Niger during his lifetime. He supported the African liberation struggle with arms and money. He supported a great many African countries with financial assistance and investments. Kotoka, on the other hand, just came to destroy Ghana and reverse our hard-won independence and economic development.
The puppet Libyan government that was installed by Nato and the Libyan NTC (National Terrorist Council)through their sham elections will not last. Sooner or later the Libyan masses will liberate themselves under the green flag of Gaddafi.
Shame on Mrs Warda Y.A. Nasef, and all traitors of the great Libyan Jamahiriya!

Lt. Arthur, Yeboah and Osei Poku's coup took place on 17th April 1967 and they mention Col. Asase, Major Achab and others as the leaders of that coup. That coup was to release from military custody some young members of the CPP who were being tortured by the military junta called the National Liberation Council.
Lt. General Emmanuel Kwesi Kokota, Captain Avevor and Captain Borkloe subjected the civilians to brutal torture leading to revolt among the junior military officers.
It is on record that Lt. Arthur and Second Lt. Yeboah were murdered at the firing squad. Second Lt. Osei Poku was imprisoned and was released after the 13th January 1972 coup by Col. Ignatius Acheapong and other and that he later became an editor of a newspaper.

Transforming from one dictatorship is another can not be said to be independence? Independence from what? Ghaddafi? Mrs. Warda! Hear her, "Libya’s excellent diplomatic relations with Ghana dated back to the 1980s" Really? Was it not in 1981 that Ghaddafi gave arms to the psychopath, Jerry Rawlings, to destroy a healthy democracy in Ghana? Then we made diplomatic friends with Nicaragua, PLO, Cuba and the many crazy "revolutionaries around the world. And yet when Ghana was grounded by lack of fuel a few months after, Lybia did not give Ghana a drop of oil, except what we could pay for with hard cash. By today's standards, both Jerry Rawlings and Ghaddafi are terrorists, hard core murderers. The AFRC and PNDC were nothing more than the Nigerian Boko Haram or the Malian Islamic insurgents that the NDC government is now sending Ghanaian soldiers to go and fight.

Stupid, puppet, illegal, traitor government controlled by France, Britain and other imperialist states. I feel sorry for Libyans today they do not know what is in store for them. They should have learned fron ghana. Nkrumah was a saviour of Africa and when the imperialist realized they sponsored his overthrow. Today, ghana is still entreached in underdevelopment, disease, and poverty while her peers (the Malaysians, Koreans, Singaporeans)are first-class nations. Like Nkrumah, Gaddafi was a prophet the enemies of africa saw. I feel sorry for Libya because the country will never be like it was under the great Gaddafi. They will remain slaves of the imperialists who are there for their oil. REST IN PEACE AL-GADDAFI. YOU WERE A GREAT LEADER WHO NEVER RAN AWAY!! YOU FOUGHT TO THE LAST BULLET AS YOU SAID YOU WOULD. AFRICA LOVES, ADMIRES, AND RESPECT YOU!!!

Stop attacking people in your country because they are black. At least under Gaddafi Black Libyans were very safe. Now you are even cleansing them ethnically from their areas and the non stop assault on Black Africans and other darker skinned Africans will not be forgotten. You could have asked the west to peacefully negotiate with Gadaffi through his son, Saif and daughter, Aisha whilst enforcing a no-fly zone but you misused the UN mandate for your own selfish purposes and still couldn't bring peace to Libya. You only created a new rich Somalia. Now look at the terror situation in Algeria and definitely Libyan weapons are in action just like Mali, Niger, Sudan, Egypt, Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Did not learn in Iraq and Afghanistan and now Libya. The new govt wants to use the military to impose a curfew and break up "illegal demonstrations" whilst closing borders with countries down south. Was Gadaffi not trying to break up the demos when he was accused of killing his own people, but when the people attack and kill police and military personnel they are praised for being rebels and fighting for freedom. When the riots started in London and extended to other areas the prime minister was calling for law and order asking the police to use heavy hands but had it been in an African country with oil there would have been wave after wave of brutal attacks killing innocent civilians whilst we are being told SMART bombs are being used so only eg. Gaddafi soldiers and or supporters are being killed. It is not over in Libya as the remnants of the Gaddafi regime are fighting to the death but now being very clever and sophisticated with allies from all over the Arab world. You will never be free until you respect all the citizens and foreigners in Libya offering them a guarantee of their basic Human Rights and Equal Opportunities.
