Anyway, those who run the show now has to be careful because, the next election will not be easy. According to what I understand,Adams is very likeable and a man of the people.

I think this is a very silly decision indeed, which leaves old wounds open. He was suspended as General Secretary, not as member of the NDC. So long as he reminds in good standing and has paid up his party dues, he has the right to stand as MP. He cannot be punished for another offence like this. In any case, that suspension should have lapsed by now.

If Mr Adams really has a groundswell of support, let him stand as an independent. He'd win.

When the NDC tried to impose sitting MPs on constituencies in 2000, some candidates went independent and won. Gbeho won in the Anlo Constituency against MP Sqr Leader Sowu (rtd). But when Gbeho himself also reused to contest the primaries against Humado and stood as independent again, he was voted out! People's power prevail there. Let the Buem people also show that the people have the power, not stupid and revenge-seeking executives in Accra.

Mr Adams, if you think you've got what it takes to lead, stand as an Indep.
