If indeed Kofi Adams was rude and insulting to the office of the president as is alleged; and if indeed he declared to campaign to unsit the president of his own party, just because he thought he had 'the cover of Rawlings', then not only is he stupid and unsuited for public office, the party (and please note I DO NOT BELONG to NDC) has every right to suspend him. If a hearing finds that his utterances and behaviour subsequently are not in consonance with the values of the party, then they have every right to expel him, not just suspend him.

He may choose to stand as an independent candidate and his supporters may choose to support or campaign and vote for him. That is his prerogative, but as a matter of principle, the party must make he Adams and all others understand that rules are rules and you have to leave if you cannot follow them. god is definitely watching, but he is not obliged to answer any and every prayer. In my view this is certainly not one prayer that God should be wasting his ears listening to. There is a simple word - SORY and it goes a long way and does not harm a fly. Arrogant and self important people sadly do not appear to have that word other vocabulary. I wonder if Kofi Adams is one of such people.
