Even the teachers in the Primary and Secondary schools also work hard. What kind of nonsense is this. Who asked them to stand election for MPs? Are they in Parliament to serve themselves? And a poor country like Ghana, they want to live well above their counterparts in other countries that have more money than Ghana but would not give such fantastic allowances. The rent allowance is not mentioning others, their fat salaries, free cars, free fuel for their cars, their drivers are paid huge sums from state coffers this is also not mentioning their harem. Then ex gratia at the end of their service. Apa. Ghanaians will have to do something otherwise by 2016 MPs will use ALL THE REVENUE IN GHANA TO PAY THEMSELVES and mind you they will find ways and means of paying themselves.

If after the term of 4 years an MP is relected, he could retain his accommodation. If not he leaves to find his own accommodation.
What is being done now is to rather enrich landlords who might have these MPs as tenants.

So wonderful. Gov't bunalow & land was sold for 330,000 to Jake & out of the amount 50,000 is given to Glover & 50,000 to Ursula & 50,000 to Ablakwa for rent advance. Oh my poor Ghana
