It's very sad our NATIONAL BUDGETS have to be supported by foreign nations.WHEN ARE WE COMING OUT OF MERE WEANING STAGES LIKE BABIES BEING BREAST-FED?Our own meeting area "AU BUILDING" was built for us by the Chinese.Isn't that a shame?Our leaders go and sit in like TOYS.Africans have come out of slavery but the leaders have proven we are in still.They still wallow in BRIBERY & CORRUPTION - THE CANCER OF AFRICA,and paying JUDGEMENT DEBTS to these foreign companies to the detriment of AFRICA'S ECONOMY.Our natural resources which has to be the medium for job creation for the youth are being sold,unfortunately by our visionless leaders to foreigners to create jobs for their youth.WHERE IS THE WISDOM HERE?AFRICAN LEADERS ARE A TOTAL DISGRACE TO THE CONTINENT AND LACK OF WISDOM,WHICH HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE PRICIPAL THING TO ACQUIRE.I am in CANADA and always pray that our leaders eyes would be opened a little bit to avoid mistakes they are always in,or else AFRICA WOULD ALWAYS BE FIGHTING/WORKING AGAIST FRICTION,AND NO WORK DONE.

We also know that America played an insignificant role in the Libyia crisis but the French and NATO which is a collection of Allied troops from various European countries and America. Most African leaders are there at the behest of the western powers and are a prop for western interest furtherance in Africa; thence their rational for staying forever in power. Take the likes of Biya in Cameroun; Nguesso in Congo and several others !

Be that as it may, we all are making the same mistake of lumping all the countries of Africa together in one brush stroke : Africa !

The interests of the 54 members of the AU is not always in convergence.

Until such time Africa and for that matter African leaders realised we have to stand tall and stick to whatever is implemented during AU summit,.shall always be slaves to these white folks. How can a big continent like Africa with so called AU have to call in foreign troops to flush out these outlaws in Mali. It is not once, twice but many many yes, yet the AU that doesn't function, all what the leaders do is to organise meetings, drink coffee and champaign and back to their respective countries and that is the end of it until another meeting. Our leaders still don't get it; no foreign troops will come to any African country's aid when there is no specific interest. Our continent is abound with natural resources and our leaders don't know how to tap them. The money that accrued from few tapped will be banked in foreign countries rendering the country poor. If Africa or AU is serious about solving our own problems then our leaders got to change
