The NDC knows that they've done wrong and wants to find ways to cover-up. It's not gonna work! Mahama is promising the Ghana Armed Forces more equipment or ammunition ect. just to solidify his alliance with them. It's a way of causing fear and unrest in the country. Ghana is not at war with any country or enemy. He could best explain that he's buying equipment out of the nation's scarce resources even when Ghanaians are crying for help, to sort of protect the Oil fields. Maybe that's what he'll say later on when people begin to demand explanations.

Prior to the elections in 2008 Mills warned that the NDC would not entertain any attempt by the NPP to steal the verdict of the people again.He warned the nation to expect mayhem if the party suspects the results of the December polls were rigged in favour of the NPP. He threatened to turn Ghana into Kenya if elections were rigged in favour of the NPP.

Your NDC even boycotted the state of the nation address by President Kufuor in 2007.When the NHIS Act was being passed in Parliament, the NDC walked out of parliament. When Kufuor said, he will implement FREE compulsory universal basic education, your NDC said it was not possible. When Kufuor discovered the oil, they said it was engine oil and Kufuor was just wasting tax payers money. When June 4th was declared no more to be an public holiday, they boycotted parliament. Sarkozy knowing that DSK would be a serious contender to the presidency supported his nomination as head of IMF. Even before the deadline for the declaration of party nominees, you are all witnesses to the Nafisatu-DSK saga las summer. By supporting Allan, Mahama wants to eliminate the only candidate capable of beating him in the next elections hence his frantic moves to push hil to the WTO.
I hope Allan would be wise enough not to accept this post so he can become the next President to push away the PEEPE DOMINATED GOVT.
