I feel very uncomfortable at how this ill-trained, rude, buga-buga, rural oriented police boys rampage onto a crime scene and shoot to kill - no arrests. There is something very suspicious about all this. If they shoot and kill 6 'suspected armed robbers' who had attacked a GOLD MINING FIRM and then claim that three of them escaped, then they were not professional at all. We the public who pay them need something or someone - at least one of the robbers alive to corroborate the fact that they were really armed robbers. This will also to a great extent help us all in curbing the menace of armed robbery in this country. And by the way what happened to the evidence, I mean the gold that they went to steal?

The Ghana Police personnel are beginning to behave in the same insensitive, intemperate and brash cowboy manner that the American police behaves towards African-Americans and other minorities.

If we continue to give a carte-blanche to this trigger-happy and extremely corrupt Policemen that we have, then none of us is safe in this country.

While I do not want any of the police officers to get killed, something seems to baffle me that none got even injured.(Ofcourse, i don't either wnat an officer to sustain any injury). The two incidents report of the armed robbers opening fire at the police. If these accounts are not cover ups to deny justice to the alleged armed robbers(legally speaking) then I doubt that that was the case. I don't think a shoot and kill policy should be the modus operandi of the police force.If it is really true that the officers were shot at first then the truth lis with them. Mind you, I do not condone armed robbery or other form of robbery.
