Of course, the NDC, by the 2008 and 2012 electoral victories, has thwarted NPP's chance to lay their dirty hands on the oil money to finance their high life at the expense of the general population and its leaders don't like it.

If the NDC has to perpetuate its rule of the country, it would be because the NPP has behaved like and an idiot and self-centred entity which has NOT got a greater number of Ghanaians' welfare at heart except its own.

While the educated ones are being brutalized.NDC as a entity is not a political party, but rather an election machine. Even their election machine is not a proper machine, they always try to put in place schemes, that will allow them to twist and turn the elections in their favour. They are only interested in power for the sake of power.

In the 2004 elections the NDC challenged the election results at the supreme court. Mills and Rawlings boycotted the inauguration of President Kufuor. Victor smith then announced they wouldn`t even watch it on TV.

Prior to the elections in 2008 Mills warned that the NDC would not entertain any attempt by the NPP to steal the verdict of the people again.He warned the nation to expect mayhem if the party suspects the results of the December polls were rigged in favour of the NPP. He threatened to turn Ghana into Kenya if elections were rigged in favour of the NPP.

Your NDC even boycotted the state of the nation address by President Kufuor in 2007.When the NHIS Act was being passed in Parliament, the NDC walked out of parliament. When Kufuor said, he will implement FREE compulsory universal basic education, your NDC said it was not possible. When Kufuor discovered the oil, they said it was engine oil and Kufuor was just wasting tax payers money. When June 4th was declared no more to be an public holiday, they boycotted parliament. I could go on and on. What has the (P)NDC done except for collapsing state owned enterprises and ghanaian private businesses? Oh I forgot, the PNDC has also been very good at killing and arresting innocent Ghanaians without a charge or trial.

To avoid the prospect of the governing party usuing state's money to influence the outcome of every elections, laws must be enacted to insulate state funds from party political campaigns. Either, all parties are given equal state funding or parties should rely on fundrasing as it's done in the USA and some other western democracies. The latter is the ideal means of party funding though donors would eventually look up for rewards in government contracts etc., it still remains the best option, or the worse ot he worst option.
I would therefore advise contributers to all arcticles not to resort to insults if they have nothing to contribute.

NPP had two terms in office, this the second tenure of the NDC. For the fact that NDC is having a second term, doesnt means- one-party-state, ...you are just bias.
Look the majority of GHANAIANS support the NDC. Even we those in the diaspora, see the NDC as the most credible party in GHANA right now, due to their multi-tribaliness. Every tribe can lead the NDC, not only AKANS.
NDC will win in 2016, if they continue on this path, an all-tribal-based party.
NPP on the other hand IS ENVISAGED BY MOST GHANAIANS to be very TRIBALISTIC, where ASANTES have so much influence.
Sorry Ken, your argument that NDC is turning GHANA into a one party system, is baseless. Painful as you see it, NDC has the most broad based support right now in GHANA. They played their cards well and won the hearts of common GHANAIANS.
And don't forget, JM is no novice to political manoeuvring.
Been in opposition is best for NPP.
