NPP ARE VERY GOOD AT FINDING FAULTS AND DETECTING FRAUD. SO THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT KEEPING THE GOVERNMENT IN POWER ON ITS TOES. THEY ARE NOT GOOD AT RULING. IN ANY CASE BOTH THE NPP AND THE NDC HAVE BEEN ACCUSED OF FRAUD AND CORRUPTION AT ONE TIME OR THE OTHER IN THEIR ADMINISTRATION. IN BOTH CASES, WHILE THE NPP COVERED THEIRS UP TO PROTECT THEIR MEMBERS IN SUPPORT OF PARTY SOLIDARITY, BY "NOT WASHING THEIR DIRTY LINING IN PUBLIC", THE NDC EXPOSED THEIR OWN PEOPLE, EVEN FROM WITHIN(MARTIN AMMIDU) AND WERE PREPARED TO INVESTIGATE AND TO TAKE MEASURES TO CURB THE MENACE. NPP THEREFORE SHOULD BE KEPT FAR FAR AWAY FROM THE PEOPLES MONEY PERPETUALLY.

  When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwasi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwasi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwasi Prat can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Prat and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratts recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Patt has the gut to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

  The appointment of the gang of three is a waste of resources and rather uncalled for. There's nothing this gang of three can do that the substantive ministers, deputy ministers and the chief directors of these ministries cannot do, if well resourced and given the free hand to operate by specific, time bound timelines with a clear direction and tunnel vision to get there. This projects so earmarked in the manisfesto of the NDC, by which Ghanaians would judge them in 2016 are quite huge and we are expecting all of them, not some, but all of them to be fulfilled by 2016, as per the campaign promise of the NDC. The onus therefore lies on the NDC to coordinate these projects with minimal interference and a strong coherent and coordinated approach. I don't see how the gang of 3 fit into this whole objective than a gross duplication of effort, with no real value for money, but rather, a clear case of job for the old horses.

  Guatemala ex-ruler Rios Montt to face genocide trial
  Gen Efrain Rios Montt has been under house arrest since his immunity from prosecution was lifted A judge in Guatemala has ordered that former military leader Efrain Rios Montt stand trial for genocide. Gen Rios Montt will face charges of crimes against humanity in connection with the killing of 1,771 indigenous Mayans during his rule in 1982-1983. Prosecutors said he wanted to wipe out the indigenous group, which he suspected of supporting rebel fighters. Gen Rios Montt, 86, is the first ex-president to be charged with genocide by a Latin American court. The ruling clears the way for a three-judge to try the former president and another former military man, Jose Mauricio Rodriguez. Gen Rios Montt had enjoyed immunity from prosecution for 12 years while he was serving as a congressman. The immunity was lifted on 14 January 2012, when his term ran out. He has been under house arrest since. Judge Miguel Angel Galvez said there was enough evidence linking the general to the killing of members of the Ixil Maya group to warrant the trial. Gen Rios Montt will also face charges over the forced displacement of 29,000 indigenous Guatemalans as part of what human rights groups have called his "scorched earth" policy. BBC regional correspondent Will Grant says the ruling is a significant victory for human rights advocates who have been pressing for his trial since the end of the civil conflict in 1996. An estimated 200,000 people were killed or went missing during the 36-year conflict. Gen Rios Montt's 17 months in power are believed to have been one of the most violent periods of the war.
