This is unwise and funny condemnation that this man so-called a chief is putting across. Being appointed as a minister, his brain is much needed to help the country to be on its feet to developt. The so-called chief condemning the nominee must be made to understand that some blind people can write and read and got sharp memory to do most things than non-physical challenged people as him. The president has appointed him to crack his brain in order to help chieftancy institution in the country. Another thing he must be told is that we are in modern global world whereby brain-working is much needed than physical strength-working of eye or hand. I can say this blindman Daanaa is needed to be enstoolen as the Chief in Seikwa in place of the current one who is coming out with such mediocrity as condemnation. He so-called non-visually impair must distool himself because his thinking doesn't correspond with the current world progress.

Therefore, to enstool even a person which has only a large scar on his face, any other deformity or physical handicaps is a taboo and against our tradition. Since the custodian of the stool is not only representing the entire town or state, but is also the spiritual leader and represents our ancestors and God in a small way.
This whole ministry for chieftaincy, anyway does not have any authority over any area which falls under the judication of Asante. Just like no regional or national house of chiefs can exercise any authority.
