Rawlings occupied power for about 20 years under the mantra - "probity and accountability", Mills and Mahama, " Better Ghana", instead of implement efficient public administration and enacting effective laws to address thr hithrto avoidable and preventable problems prevalent in Ghana such as: 1. lack of effective land administration system (poor town and country planning - poor road network system - not tarred and not named)
2. poor health delivery systems in the country (even the inrited NHIS is currently being mismanged and not improved)
3. poor transportation system (poor transport administration leading to daily deaths on our roads)
4. Poor educational delivery system leading to Ghana churning out only mediocre minds, no creative minds
5. name the rest.
Arnold Quainoo is paying the price of public mismanagement for lack of creating an efficient and effective land administration system for all the years he and his cohorts spent in power lording it over the people. The occupied power for power sake and to amass wealth with any improvement in the system for all to enjoy.

Remember that NPP came into power with a principle of "Property Owning Democracy" and looted every Governmentt property in Ghana. These properties and lands that NPP members looted were built and provided by the CPP when Dr Nkrumah was in power.

The clear fact is that there nothing called Property Owning Democracy anywhere in this world, not even in USA or the UK where this principle began. Democracy is just Democracy. Yet in your werp mind you think Rawlings was more corrupt.

Very shame on you. General Quainoo surely may have acquired that land rightfully, yet you are abusing this man. Think again before you go about abusing elders in Ghanaian society.

Tey gave me a new small pocket size pistol for GHc2000 and promised to give out its ammunition the next day but for the past one and a half years now have refused to give it out. All attempts to get the ammunition or my money back are in vain. Mr Tey claims he is a warrant officer as well as transport officer at Burma Camp BNI. He uses a blue painted motorbike at times to Dansoman anytime he attends party meetings. He speaks hauza and ewe languages. Mr warrant officer Tey and family will not know peacen becos I will go for money at Nogokpo.

I don't think Gen (Rtd) Quainoo would seize land other than buy it legally. As you pointed out these hooligans in Accra are just taking advantage and intimidating and harrassing just anybody.

It is a dangerous phenomenon as you rightly point out, that should be curbed.
On one hand I sympathise with the man and on the other hand I think, it is good he has to go through what others have to go through so that he can add his voice to this unhealthy trend.

Land Laws must be looked at in Ghana. The problem is getting out of hand.

Again, I am reading between the lines and I am thinking about a totally different issue which may have given rise to this alleged incident. I am keeping my mind open. Just read the article carefully!

This unscrupulous people have to know that what is not yours is not yours and there will be judge one day for the bad things that they are doing to people. I don't know if president Mahama does not know what Afotey Agbo is doing and the bad image is he is giving to the the NDC party.
