  I would expect well meaning Ghanaians and our churches and religious leaders to be putting more efforts into addressing this issue which is also a cause of maternal mortality.

  the hypocrisy in our country is too much. majority of Ghanaians hide behind religion and pretend that abortions are not happening. the issue at hand is that, girls, women, mothers and females in general are dying from unsafe ...

  the hypocrisy in our country is too much. majority of Ghanaians hide behind religion and pretend that abortions are not happening. the issue at hand is that, girls, women, mothers and females in general are dying from unsafe abortions...what do we do after someone gets pregnant and does not want the child? if the person would abort irrespective of whether it is safe or not, shouldn't we provide safe abortion conditions to prevent death and complications?
