Government ministries and other private companies owing the VRA/ECG etc must pay or be taken to court. This is what the government must do. Siege is too early.

If the government is able to dish out GhC 50000.00 to MPs and double their salaries for them to boycott parliament, I think it is fair for the government to do same for the rest of the working force.

The President's pay was increased. MP's also voted to increase their pay PLUS a housing allowance. Yesterday it was reported that Chiefs' pay would also be increased. Why not an increase in doctors'pay?

From what is going on, it looks like Ghana is at the brink of total disarray. Everybody is either asking for more money or looking for more money. The root cause of all this is because Ghana is under the total grips of the evil spirit of materialism. The situation has confirmed the old adage that "money is the root of all eveil". Enerybody is into politics nowadays in search of money and not actuated by the genuine desire to contribute to national development. As a defence mechanism and out of fear of losing power or losing their juicy positions, some have even resorted to hurling insults at their political opponents. This has propmted a highly placed citizen of this country to call them "babies with sharp teeth"; and "evil dwarfs". The same personality has called others "greedy bastards" also indicating his displeasure with the level, depth and intensity of corruption that has characterized our public life.
The current occupant of the highest political office in Ghana is an island surrounded by a turbulent sea of corruption allegation. Out of self-defence and to gag his chief opponent when it comes to corruption allegations against him,he ordered Martin Hamidu to be arrested and detained prior to the December elections so that Martin would not run his mouth and say things that will damage Mahama's bid for the presidency. Now the legitimacy of Mahama's presidency is being hotly challenged in court. Ghana is in disarray be cause the (the Presidency) cannot hold. Mahama is under siege from south, east, waest and north. QUO VADIS, GHANA
