In my humble opinion this dear country of ours faces more serious problems than homosexuality and what people get up to in their private space. For the umpteenth time, let me tell you that Oye is not trying to promote homosexuality in Ghana; she just wants to protect them from hate crimes etc. No one can promote homosexuality, it is not contagious or learned behavior, ask the gays and lesbians and they will tell you it is “natural” to them. Why would anyone want to be persecuted and hated by choosing homosexuality?
On the contrary to what you wrote, both Britain and the US have put in laws to protect the homosexual, it is hate crime when LGBT folks are targeted due to their orientation. Britain has threatened to not support or withdraw donations to countries that don’t protect LGBTs. I don’t believe both Oye and Mahama are trying to promote homosexuality in Ghana; they are simply going to try to protect them. Sure, most Americans don’t support or believe in same sex marriage but they believe in LGBTs protection as citizens, and not to be discriminated against.
Enough of this nonsense, let is focus on fighting corruption, stealing and other serious crimes in the country instead of targeting homosexuals, who don’t adversely affect our economy in any way.

Her appointment clearly spells what she should do and that is "Gender, Children and Social Protection". What kind of answer is there to give in response to what she would do if her son came asking for her blessing to marry another man?
If Nana Oye Lithur likes gayism she would have been gay. But this is a decent family woman happily married with children. I doubt how many of her critics or doubters have a more happy marriage than Nana Oye Lithur.
What do people see of her to suggest that she is going to promote gayism. If she is going to promote gayism, she would been doing that by now.
