I am wondering what this ‘politician’ is all about.

His statement is confusing and weak. For instance, in paragraph 7 of his radio transcript he says “the oldman does not know him” (referring to Owusu Bampah) then in paragraph 16 he says “the oldman met Owusu Bampah once or twice”. Is Kofi Adams a liar or a confused Youngman?

In Paragraph 15 Kofi Adams is quoted as saying “he wanted to call the police to arrest him” referring to Owusu Bampah. There is no doubt that Kofi Adams is demonstrating his true character of a tyrant like his master. If at this stage he can call (or command) the police to arrest someone, I wonder what he will do if he has power. May I remind Kofi Adams that from what was posted on the internet as a transcript of Bampah’s statement did not amount directly to threatening the security of judges and does not constitute a criminal offence for that matter; if it did, I do not think it is Kofi Adams’ duty to teach the Police the way to conduct their business nor teach them how to decipher criminality from misdemeanour. If the judges themselves feel threatened by a silly comment I believe they are not novices to the truth of events that led to the killing of their colleagues and would have taken every necessary step to bring Bampah to justice.

Further connections can be made from Paragraph 8 of Kofi Adams’ statement that “…the oldman (Rawlings) is not happy about the integrity of some judges…” Now, Mr. Adams, is this not the same posture that led to the fate of our honourable judges? If Rawlings is not happy about Bampah’s alleged reckless talk, then Kofi Adams comments are equally thoughtless which seeks to implicate his boss and makes nonsense value of his alleged boss’s reaction to Bampah’s statement.
